In collaboration with National Enterprise Development Authority (NEDA) which established under the National Entrepreneur Development Act No. 17 of 2006 of the Government of Sri Lanka, Maskeliya Public Library conducted a self employment workshop for the library members at Achinika Hall Maskeliya. This event was organized by the development officer K. Jeyaprakash and Maskeliya Pradeshiya sabha Secretary Mr. S. Rajaweeran and other supporting staffs. Detergent & Dish wash soap, Hand wash and Candle making process were practically taught by resources persons from NEDA
